Series of musical and audio-visual applications developed mainly in the Max/Msp environment.
The applications have been created and tested in the framework of the PHD that I'm carrying out within the department of musicology of the University Jean Monnet of Saint-Etienne, and the Laboratory "Parcours Santé Systémique" of the University Lyon 1. The project is aimed at students of middle and elementary schools, and at people with cognitive impairments of all ages, with no background in the music field. For this reason, all the applications are accessibles and easy to use and to understand; in addition, some instructions are present on the interface so that teachers or parents can help the children in using the app. The goal of the tools, and of the training programs in which the devices are used, is to develop basic musical skills and also "life skills" (verbal and non verbal communication, empathy, team working, creativity, etc.), through the group activities. The work is in progress: other applications will be added to the series.
